Theatre In The Park

Theatre in the Park is a performing arts venue in Harare Gardens, near the corner of Herbert Chitepo Avenue and Leopold Takawira Street. Run by Rooftop Promotions, it hosts theatrical productions by Zimbabwean and visiting artists. Its auditorium was built using stacked shipping containers, giving the theatre a distinctive place within the gardens. The venue also hosts live music, including concerts and album launches, and has staged cultural gatherings featuring workshops, exhibitions and traditional music. Performances and events vary with the programme.
