A.R.T Farm entrance

A.R.T Farm entrance is a Southfields Road access point near Harare Drive in Harare, at the edge of the Agricultural Research Trust farm. The trust runs a self-funded agricultural research and demonstration farm with a field laboratory for trials of crops, irrigation, tillage equipment, crop protection and fertilisation methods. Its commercial model farm grows maize, soya and fodder crops and maintains a beef herd alongside a small area of horticulture. Research and commercial farming share the property.
